Text For Citation: 02 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i):Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: a) Molding department, Husky Line-X #8; On or about December 28, 2021 and at times thereto, the employers exposed employees to hazardous energies in that employer did not ensure that multiple employees engaged in the removal and reinstallation of the ejection molding driveshaft did not utilize specific procedural steps developed by the employer while involved in group LOTO. The Berry Global, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.147(c)(4)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1249487, citation number 001, item number 02/a and was affirmed as a final order on 03/04/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 190 Stryker Road, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865.
