29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A): Each authorized employee shall receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control. On or about December 21, 2021, at an establishment located at 2610 Ross Avenue in Schofield, Wisconsin, at Facility 2; an employee acting as the Lead and conducting servicing and/or maintenance activities on the 8-Inch Extrusion Press line did not receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control. The Crystal Finishing Systems, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1423494, citation number 1, item number 1 a, and was affirmed as a final order on December 16, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 4704 Bayberry Street in Schofield, Wisconsin.
