29 CFR 1910.181(c)(1): Permanently installed derrick(s) with fixed lengths of boom, guy, and mast were not provided with substantial, durable, and clearly legible rating chart(s) securely affixed where visible to personnel responsible for the safe operation of the equipment: The employer if failing to protect employees from struck by hazards associated with operating derrick without having the load rating markings and charts. The most recent occurrence of this was evident on May 23, 2018 during the investigation of a workplace injury 1 Block west of the intersection of Highways 281 and 34 in Grand Island, NE where the employer has crews of two employees operating Pumpsetter trucks; each truck has a company engineered and installed derrick used to pull pipes and pumps weighing over 2,000 pounds without having marked the derrick with its maximum capacity nor developing a load rating chart to identify the changes in lifting capacity based on the angle of the derrick during the lift.
