29 CFR 1910.303(g)(2)(i):Except as elsewhere required or permitted by Subpart S of Part 1910, live parts of electric equipment operating at 50 volts or more were not guarded against accidental contact by use of approved cabinets or other forms of approved enclosures or by any of the means identified in paragraphs (A), (B), (C), and (D) of 29 CFR 1910.303(g)(2)(i): (a)Protective Coating Specialists, Inc. at 1350 7th Street Northwest, Huron, SD 57350: On or about and at times prior to November 22, 2023, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from electrical hazards in that electrical components mounted on the post in the hanging area of the Main Line included energized, uncapped, electrical conductors protruding from an uncovered junction box. This condition exposed employees to shock and burn hazards. (b)Protective Coating Specialists, Inc. at 1350 7th Street Northwest, Huron, SD 57350: On or about and at times prior to November 22, 2023, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from electrical hazards in that electrical panel located on the West Line Oven, Model ENW066U65G, was left open during operation allowing access to energized conductors inside the panel. This condition exposed employees to shock and burn hazards. (c)Protective Coating Specialists, Inc. at 1350 7th Street Northwest, Huron, SD 57350: On or about and at times prior to November 22, 2023, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from electrical hazards in that electrical panel for the oven on the South Line was left open during operation allowing access to energized conductors inside the panel. This condition exposed employees to shock and burn hazards. (d)Protective Coating Specialists, Inc. at 1350 7th Street Northwest, Huron, SD 57350: On or about and at times prior to November 22, 2023, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from electrical hazards in that the fluorescent lighting in the inspection area on the South Line had exposed lamp holders or tube sockets. This condition exposed employees to shock and burn hazards.
