29 CFR 1910.178(q)(7): Industrial trucks were not examined before being placed in service: On or about 3/29/21, the employer failed to ensure the Clark forklift (unknown model and serial number), and the Caterpillar forklift (model TC 60 DS TR, serial No. 2YB00502) were examined for defects prior to placing them into service. The Clark forklift had inoperable horn, backup alarm, and was missing a data plate and a seatbelt. The Caterpillar forklift had an inoperable horn, and a missing seatbelt.
