29 CFR 1910.178(p)(1): Powered industrial truck(s) found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe had not been taken out of service until restored to safe operating condition: On or about 3/29/21, the employer failed to ensure the Clark forklift (unknown model and serial number), and the Caterpillar forklift (model TC 60 DS TR, serial No. 2YB00502) were removed from service due to defects that affected the safe operation of the vehicles. The Clark forklift had inoperable horn, backup alarm, and was missing a data plate and a seatbelt. The Caterpillar forklift had an inoperable horn, and a missing seatbelt.
