29 CFR 1910.242(a): The employer was not responsible for the safe condition of tools and equipment used by employees, including tools and equipment which may be furnished by employees: On or about January 20, 2022, employees were exposed to a struck-by hazard while using a 6 ft nylon strap and a 20 foot nylon tie-down strap attached to a metal extension pipe with an inserted wrench to service the motor of a vertical turbine pump.
