29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided to prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws: a) For the power cord on the aluminum gutter machine at the jobsite 7146 Kenwood Dr., North Port, FL 34287, on or about 06/26/2023, the employer exposed employees to electrical shock hazards, in that, the outer insulation of the flexible power cord had been pulled away at the cord's plug resulting in a lack of strain relief for the inner conductors. b) For the power cord on the aluminum gutter machine at the jobsite 1105 Moss Cove Ct., Port Charlotte, FL 33953, on or about 06/26/2023, the employer exposed employees to electrical shock hazards, in that, the outer insulation of the flexible power cord had been pulled away at the cord's plug resulting in a lack of strain relief for the inner conductors.
