29 CFR 1926.251(b)(5): Whenever wear at any point of any chain link exceeds that shown in Table H-2, the assembly shall be removed from service: a) At Wetumpka Airport, Wetumpka, Alabama: On or about January 20, 2016 and at times prior; the employer exposed his employees to struck-by and crushing hazards in that employees were allowed to use a alloy steel chain sling in which the chain links had excessive wear and should have been taken out of service.
