29 CFR 1910.269(m)(3)(vii): (Deenergizing lines and equipment): The employer shall ensure the installation of protective grounds as required by paragraph (n) of this section. (a) On Dec. 23, 2022, employees were exposed to electric shock while repairing a downed overhead powerline in that the employer did not ensure protective ground jumpers were installed on the primary conductor and neutral prior to employees making line repairs.
