29 CFR 1915.134(c): Portable abrasive wheels used for external grinding were not protected by a guard meeting the requirements of 1915.134(e): a) Philly Shipyard, Inc.- 2100 Kitty Hawk Avenue in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: Grand Block 150 top deck: On or about March 21, 2023, an employee used a DeWalt corded 11,000 RPM paddle switch grinder with a PFERD SG Steel grinding wheel, with no protective guard, thereby exposing employee to stuck-by hazards.
