29 CFR 1910.1030(f)(2)(i): Hepatitis B vaccination were not made available within 10 working days of initial assignment to all employees who have occupational exposure unless the employee has previously received the complete hepatitis B vaccination series, antibody testing has revealed that the employee is immune, or the vaccine is contraindicated for medical reasons: (a) Lafayette Leasing, LLC, 225 Waneka Parkway, Lafayette, CO 80026: On and preceding 02/04/2021 the employer did not provide the hepatis B vaccination within 10 days of initial assignment. Employees assisted residents with administration of insulin using an insulin pen , and assisted residents with blood sugar testing using lancets. Following use of the medical devices, employees removed by hand the contaminated needle from each insulin pen or lancet prior to disposal. This condition exposed employees to a bloodborne pathogens hazard.
