29 CFR 1928.57(c)(2)(i): The mesh or nip-points of all power-driven gears, belts, chains, sheaves, pulleys, sprockets, and idlers were not guarded: (a)Craven Corner Feeders, Inc. at 36168 138th Street, Ipswich, SD 57451: On or about and at times prior to September 10, 2024, the employer did not ensure adequate guarding was in place on the east and west side of the Henke Machine, roller mill in the Mill Room Area, in that the belt and pulley system were open and not adequately guarded. This condition exposed employees to caught-in hazards associated with the unguarded belt and pulley. (b)Craven Corner Feeders, Inc. at 36168 138th Street, Ipswich, SD 57451: On or about and at times prior to September 10, 2024, the employer did not ensure adequate guarding was in place on the east side of the Renn Mill Center roller mill in the Mill Room Area, in that the belt and pulley system were open and not adequately guarded. This condition exposed employees to caught-in hazards associated with the unguarded belt and pulley.
