29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv): Flexible cords and/ or cables were used for purposes prohibited by paragraphs (A) through (F) of 29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv): A.) Penn Stainless Products, Inc., 102 McQuiston Drive, Jackson Center, PA 16133, production area, near man door #2 / grinding table, on or about August 13, 2020 and times prior thereto: A green flexible cord was running from a receptacle, along the floor surface, and to the yellow flexible cord of a cord reel. The cord reel, and its associated flexible cord subsequently powered a DeWalt DWE43144N 6-inch angle grinder. Employees were utilizing the angle grinder for various grinding tasks. The use of the flexible cords were prohibited in that it was being used in lieu of permanent wiring of the structure. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION OR DOCUMENATION REQUIRED
