29 CFR 1910.335(a)(1)(i):Employees working in areas where there were potential electrical hazards were not using electrical protective equipment that was appropriate for the specific parts of the body to be protected and for the work to be performed: a. In the electrical service room of building 3269 at University Place Apartments, Jacksonville, FL: On or about December 14, 2021, the employer exposed the qualified lead electrician and electrician helper to electrical and arc-flash hazards, in that hazard risk category 1 electrical arc-flash protective equipment and arc-flash clothing hard hat, hearing protection, and rubber insulated gloves were not used when the lead electrician changed out a 100 amp breaker within the energized 240VAC 600 Amp panel.
