Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 002A Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.333(a)(1): Live parts to which an employee may be exposed were not deenergized before the employee worked on or was near to them: The employer is failing to protect employees from electrocution hazards. This was most recently documented on or about August 19, 2019 at the job site located at SE NorthStar RD and SE Scott Canyon RD, Kiowa, Kansas, when an employee was exposed to energized underground lines while removing an electrical box that supplied power to the decommissioned well site. The underground lines had not been deenergized before the employees worked on and near them.
