29 CFR 1926.1425(c)(3): The materials must be rigged by a qualified rigger. a. On or before November 3, 2017 where a 13 foot long section of 4 inch ductile iron pipe was rigged to be lowered into a lift station, the rigging was not conducted by a qualified rigger which resulted in the pipe slipping out of the rigging and striking an employee, resulting in the hospitalization of the injured employee.
