29 CFR 1926.100(a):Employees were not protected by protective helmets while working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns: a) Excavated Area: On or about July 12, 2024, the employer exposed an employee to stuck-by hazards, in that; the employer did not ensure employees were protected by protective helmets while working in areas of potential head injury, i.e. inside excavation area with danger to impact from falling objects, such as but not limited to, storm detention infiltrator systems.
