29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical in the workplace: At the workplace located at 2925 Industrial Road, Junction City, Kansas, the employer failed to maintain safety data sheets for employees. Employees were exposed to chemical hazards that included but was not limited to oxygen and acetylene for performing welding tasks. The hazards associated with these chemicals include: skin burns or frostbite, may explode if heated or intensify existing fires, extremely flammable gas, may form explosive mixtures with air. The chemicals can act as fueling agents due to their flammability as compressed gases.
