29 CFR 1910.179(n)(3)(i):The load was not well secured and properly balanced in the sling or lifting device before it was lifted more than a few inches: (a) On or about March 30, 2021 , at 2129 Ayersville Road, Toccoa, Georgia 30577 (Building 5 Large Hydro Test Pit) - Employee(s) were exposed to caught-between and/or struck-by hazard. Employees are required to guide a 10- ton gantry crane with the sling attached to a vertical turbine pump, which created an unbalanced load as the pump was turned counterclockwise.
