29 CFR 1910.217(c)(3)(iii)(f):Mechanical power press(es) using presence sensing point of operation devices were not provided with guards to protect all areas of entry to the point of operation not protected by the presence sensing device(s.) (a) Production Work Area, Heavy Press Work Area: On or about January 15, 2021, employees operated the Minster Mechanical Press Machine #225, where machine guarding did not protect all areas of entry. The light curtains utilized on the machine did not extend or cover all areas to prevent exposure to caught-in hazards from the press cycling.
