29 CFR 1910.269(a)(2)(iii)(C): Each line-clearance tree trimmer who is not a qualified employee was not trained and competent in the minimum approach distances specified in this section corresponding to the voltages to which the employee will be exposed and the skills and techniques necessary to maintain those distances: a) 595 Country Brown Road, Milner, Georgia : On or about October 22, 2021, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to electrocution hazards, in that the employer did not provide employees with training in, and ensure employee competency in, the minimum approach distances specified in 29 CFR 1910.269 corresponding to the voltages to which the employee will be exposed and the skills and techniques necessary to maintain those distances where employees performed line-clearance tree trimming activities for overhead power lines which were energized to 14,400 volts.
