29 CFR 1910.1000(e): Feasible administrative or engineering controls were not determined and implemented to achieve compliance with the limits prescribed in 29 CFR 1910.1000(a) through (d): a) Bethel Park Health & Wellness Pavilion, on or about September 12, 2018 - The employer did not ensure feasible administrative or engineering controls were determined and implemented or other protective measures used to keep the exposure of employees to air contaminants within the limits prescribed in this section. Two employees designated as a Laborer and a Plumbing Foreman were exposed to carbon monoxide at an 8-hour time-weighted (TWA) concentration of 134.0 ppm and 130.0 ppm while operating a Core Cut CC1800XL propane powered saw. The saw was operated indoors to cut a hole in the concrete floor in preparation for plumbing piping. The exposures were 2.68 and 2.60 times the OSHA PEL of 50 ppm respectively.
