OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized engulfment and struck-by hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. a) Butner Road and Union Road Southwest, Atlanta, Georgia: On or about April 1, 2024, employees removing a fire hydrant from an open water main valve and not supported were exposed to engulfment and struck-by hazards.
