Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: On or about August 22, 2023, where employees working at bay door #149, loading packages onto the back of an International 24-foot trailer truck, were exposed to a struck/crushed-by hazard from the moving truck: Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within ten calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is takes to ensure employees operating trucks in a safe manner to prevent to struck/crush-by hazards.
