OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees exposed to struck by hazards while inside a barge in proximity to a moving material handler during cleanout operations. (a) Follansbee Cleaning Fleet, Vessel MEM 2442, 54 Landry Lane, Follansbee, WV: On March 22, 2023, during a barge cleanout, an employee was exposed to struck by hazards when working around a Liebherr R953B Litronic excavator while not visible to the operator.
