1928.57(a)(6)(iii) Stop engine, disconnect the power source, and wait for all machine movement to stop before servicing, adjusting, cleaning, or unclogging the equipment, except where the machine must be running to be properly serviced or maintained, in which case the employer shall instruct employees as to all steps and procedures which are necessary to safely service or maintain the equipment; OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized caught-in hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: On or about November 17, 2022, in the employer ramp (VA2) at the intersection of Rodgers Rd. and Miami Canal Rd, Palm Beach County, Florida, an employee was exposed to caught-in between hazards while positioned between sugar cane railcars being coupled and moved during loading operations.
