29 CFR 1910.333(c)(3)(iii): Any vehicle or mechanical equipment capable of having parts of its structure elevated near energized overhead lines was not operated so that a clearance of 10 feet was maintained. If the voltage is higher than 50kV, the clearance shall be increased 4 inches for every 10 kV over that voltage. a) On or about 08/03/2022, at Mid-River Marina Inc, located at 3675 River Rd, Tonawanda, NY, an employee was exposed to electrical shocks when operating a Travelift mobile boat lift from the dock to the northwest corner of the property border, when he passed under an energized 4.16 kV high-power line and the top metal bar of the mobile boat lift made contact with the energized power line. NO ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED
