29 CFR 1910.213(c)(3): Hand-fed ripsaw(s) did not have non-kickback fingers or dogs so located as to oppose the thrust or tendency of the saw to pick up the material or to throw it back toward the operator: (a) On or about 12/21/2021 and at times prior to, Pre-Manufacturing, Rip Saw 3 - Employees operating a rip saw to produce barrel staves were exposed to sudden throw back of stave slivers from the cutting process because the non-kickback fingers or dogs did not effectively oppose the thrust of the saw.
