29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a) At the rebar bender, behind the commercial structure at 5203 South Royal Atlanta Dr. Tucker, GA; On or about November 1, 2021, employees were exposed to a caught-in between and amputation hazard, in that the employer did not ensure the metal rebar bender was adequately guarded to prevent employees from the hazardous area.
