29 CFR OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were not protected from the hazard of severe cuts and lacerations while operating hand and portable power tools. Location - 99 Newark Street, Haverhill, MA 01832 - Metal Fabrication/Preparation area. On or about 7/20/2021, an Eezer sanding disk backing plate with a rating of 6,000 RPMs was used on the Jupiter Pneumatics (JP) Palm Air Orbital Sander (#5510014023JP), which is rated for 14,000 RPMs.
