29 CFR OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees; in that, an employee was exposed to laceration and amputation and blunt-force trauma hazards from a chain saw. a. On or about December 07, 2020, an employee who was operating a chain saw allowed another employee to enter into the general work area/ saw danger zone, for the purpose of providing assistance to the saw operator; therefore resulting in/ exposing the assisting employee to eye, face, head and extremity hazards/ injuries such as flying particles, laceration and amputation and blunt-force trauma/kick-back from the saw chain/ blade.
