All energy isolating devices that are needed to control the energy to the machine or equipment shall be physically located and operated in such a manner as to isolate the machine or equipment from the energy source(s). a) Pup 9736, Warren Transport, Billings MT: On Aug 11, 2020, and at times prior, employees were exposed to crushing hazards from the unexpected release of energy while conducting maintenance activities on a pup dump trailer without all energy isolating devices in place prior to beginning work.
