OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1) The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees (a) 2626 Ligonier Street, Latrobe, PA: While a steel barrier and personal protective equipment were provided to protect employees in the red zone of the AOD while performing sampling, the protective equipment proved insufficient to protect an employee's fool from droplets of molten steel that penetrated through the laces and leather tongue of the protective boot.
