OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: On or about November 25, 2019, an employee was exposed to crush-by and amputation hazards while lifting a cylinder head that weighed approximately 5500 pounds with a close proximity magnet and the employer did not ensure that the employee properly attached the magnet to the surface of the cylinder head.
