29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): The employer did not report within 24-hours a work-related incident resulting in in-patient hospitalization, amputation or the loss of an eye: (a) Hershey Creamery Company, 301 South Cameron Street, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania - An employee suffered thermal burns to the neck, chest, and abdomen on April 10, 2019 as a result of getting struck by steam. The burn injuries required hospitalization, and the employer failed to report this work-related hospitalization to OSHA within 24 hours. (The employer reported this in patient hospitalization to OSHA on May 2, 2019.) Corrected during the inspection.
