29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): The employer did not report within 24-hours a work-related incident resulting in in-patient hospitalization, amputation or the loss of an eye. On January 28th, 2019, at approximately 4:15 AM, an employee was working in the kitchen of a nursing care facility and received an injury resulting in hospitalization. The hospitalization was not reported within 24 hours to the local Area Offices of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The Austin Area Office was notified on February 2nd, 2019, at approximately 11:58 AM through an online submission from a representative of the employer.
