29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: (a) This violation occurred on or about March 2, 2017, in the Pie Line Dough Chunker area, where the employer did not develop procedures for the control of potentially hazardous energy when sanitation employees performed rinse and sanitize operations on the Pie Line Dough Chunker; exposing employees to an amputation hazard from the unexpected energization of the Teflon blade.
